Who's Behind This?

I've spent two decades in technology — building systems, leading teams, and figuring out what actually works vs. what looks good in a pitch deck.
That experience taught me something important: you can't fake results. Either the system works, or it doesn't. Either the tool delivers, or it doesn't. I bring that same standard to AI tools.
I built StackBuilt because I was frustrated. Every "AI tool review" site was either:
- Sponsored content disguised as reviews
- Written by people who clearly hadn't used the tools
- Full of vague "it depends" recommendations with no actionable guidance
So I started documenting what I was actually using — what worked, what didn't, and what it actually cost. StackBuilt is that documentation, turned into something useful for others.
How We Make Money
Transparency matters. Here's the business model:
- Affiliate commissions: Some tools pay us a commission when you sign up through our links. This doesn't affect our recommendations — we only affiliate with tools we'd recommend anyway.

- Optimization Report: A personalized, async consulting service where we audit your current tool stack and deliver a keep/cut/replace plan with one ready-to-install workflow. For people who want expert guidance without the back-and-forth.
- No sponsored content: We don't accept payment for reviews, placements, or "featured" spots. Ever.
